About Rabbi Mel Glazer
RABBI MEL GLAZER, DD, DMIN, received his Doctor of Divinity from the Jewish Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary.
A congregational Rabbi for more than 30 years, Rabbi Glazer is a prominent Grief Recovery Specialist certified by The Grief Recovery Institute. He trained directly under John W. James and Russell Friedman, authors of the definitive work The Grief Recovery Handbook.
Rabbi Glazer has counseled, lectured, and conducted workshops in the interfaith community across the U.S. and Canada, and has contributed articles and chapters to theological and general interest publications and books.
His work has been featured on TV, radio and the internet, and he writes a column, "Your Grief Matters", for The Pocono Record.
Rabbi Glazer lives with his wife, Ellen, in Colorado Springs, CO, where he is the Rabbi at Temple Israel of the Poconos.
